Where to Stay

We've chosen two hotels that are a short drive to the wedding and to popular areas of Istanbul. A complimentary shuttle will run between both hotels and the wedding. However, Uber and taxis are accessible in Turkey, so you can stay anywhere in the outlined area (lots of Airbnb's).

However, traffic is a big part of Istanbul, and if you stay outside the recommended area you risk missing the wedding — we highly recommend staying within the outlined area. You can also stay near the shuttle pick-ups at the hotels and join the shuttle even if you're not staying at one of them.

The shaded area is where we'd love you to base yourselves: the strip between Bağdat Caddesi and the sea — Bostancı, Suadiye, Fenerbahçe and Kalamış. It's close to the wedding but away from the busiest parts of the city, the accommodation is more affordable, and transit easily carries you wherever you'd like to explore. Kalamış Atatürk Park marks the western edge — as long as you stay east of the park, you're within about twenty minutes of the ceremony.

A great value option with spacious rooms and a rooftop pool. Transit nearby carries you easily along the coast to the venue and into the center of Istanbul for exploring. A complimentary shuttle will run between this hotel and the ceremony.

· Late May is a popular season — prices climb steadily the closer we get.
· Rooms booked with free cancellation are always the safer choice.
